Abstract Submission Details

Abstracts will be collected via the online system.

Those who wish to participate in the symposium with an abstract must submit their abstracts via the abstract submission module on the website.

Abstract Submission Guidelines
  • The presentation language is Turkish.
  • Abstracts should include "Objective, Material-Method, Results-Conclusion" subheadings. Case reports should include "Objective, Case, Conclusion" subheadings.
  • Academic titles should not be used. Abstracts should not exceed 250 words.
  • The title should be explanatory of the study content and must be a maximum of 10 words.
  • Only the first letter of the abstract title should be capitalized. (Abbreviations are exceptions.)
  • Abstract texts are collected online via the abstract system. Submission via email or other methods is not accepted.
  • Texts saved in the system can be edited until the final submission deadline, but submitted texts cannot be edited or changed.
  • Abstracts submitted via the online module will be published exactly as they are, so attention must be paid to spelling errors. Authors are responsible for all spelling errors.
  • It is mandatory for the person presenting the abstract to register for the symposium and attend the symposium to make the presentation.
Evaluation of Abstracts
  • Submitted texts are reviewed after the submission deadline, and as a result of the review, texts are accepted or rejected.
  • The evaluation will be conducted by the Abstract Evaluation Committee online, keeping researchers' names/surnames and institutions confidential. The evaluation result will be sent to all abstract authors as a result letter.
Digital Poster Technical Specifications
  • Must be prepared vertically in a <b>3:4</b> ratio as a <b>JPEG</b>.
  • Must be high resolution, minimum <b>1536(width) x 2048(height)</b>.
  • Texts in the Digital E-poster worked in specified dimensions should be as large and legible as possible. The recommended font is <b>Arial</b> between <b>12 - 22 points</b>.
  • If the information on the E-Poster does not fit on one page, a second page of the same dimensions should be made, and the quality of the pasted pictures and tables must be high.
  • Abstract owners having trouble with <b>JPEG</b> resolution can send their working files with <b>ppt</b> or <b>pptx</b> extensions directly if they wish.
  • JPEG or working files must be sent to kader.bektas@burkon.com by March 15, 2026.
Full Text Submission Guidelines
  • The full text language is Turkish.
  • Only the first letters of the words in the text title should be capitalized. Abbreviations should not be used in the title.
  • Full texts must have the abstract and author information uploaded to the abstract system as a summary.
  • Academic titles should not be used in names.
  • It must include relevant sections such as Introduction and Objective, Method, Results, Conclusion, Keywords, References.
  • The full text must be in Word document format and a minimum of 4 (full page), a maximum of 12 pages. There is no word limit.
  • The text must be Times New Roman, 11 font size, and single-spaced.
  • May contain tables, figures, pictures. There is no table/figure limit.
  • Standard abbreviations are accepted. The abbreviation is given in parentheses where the word is first mentioned and is used throughout the text.
  • Submitted texts will be published as they are, so attention must be paid to spelling errors. Authors are responsible for all spelling errors.
  • Those who want to apply for the award in RESEARCH PRESENTATIONS accepted as oral presentation or discussed poster must submit their presentations as FULL TEXT to kader.bektas@burkon.com by April 1, 2026 at 23:59.
