Esteemed Colleagues,
We are honored to invite you to the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Symposium held between April 16-19, 2026. In line with your positive feedback, we will hold our scientific event at La Blanche Island Bodrum this year, as we did last year.
The main topic of the symposium has been determined as Neurogenetics. We will have the opportunity to listen to esteemed speakers, especially those with studies in the field of movement disorders genetics.
Current diagnosis and management of hyperkinetic movement disorders and atypical parkinsonisms, as well as rarely discussed and seen movement disorders, are among the topics of this symposium. We also wanted to address innovative and translational approaches to movement disorders.
Parkinson's disease, which we encounter most in our clinical practice, its diagnosis; motor, non-motor symptoms and treatment regulations according to its stages, will be comprehensively re-evaluated in the light of new developments and personal experiences. Developments in the pathophysiology of the disease and biomarkers will also be discussed in this context.
Our traditional video case presentations night continues this year.
The studies you have prepared with devotion will be shared with the participants as oral, discussed poster and e-poster presentations at the symposium and will contribute to the scientific quality of the symposium.
The most important source of motivation in organizing scientific events is the interest and participation of our colleagues. We tried to prepare our program in a format both for neurology clinical practice and where scientific developments will be transferred. Our invited speakers accepted our invitation to be together with you and share experiences mutually in this scientific event. We thank them.
Hoping to meet at the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Symposium in Bodrum on beautiful spring days.
Best regards,
Prof. Dr. Ayşe Bora Tokçaer
